Can I Really Get Mad?

Even though they get out 13 games and spread everything in the boxes ALL OVER THE FLOOR (3 were 3 different monopoly games), AND take donut holes and crumble them up and smash them into the carpet and all over the kitchen floor while I am cleaning up the games, AND crush up pringles chips and spread them throughout the carpet and floor with the donuts, CAN I REALLY GET MAD AT THESE 2 CUTE FACES?

Of course not! About 2 minutes after I got mad at them for making such a mess, I found them in my room laying down and hugging each other...all of the madness just went away! These 2 kids are BEST FRIENDS and really do play well together. I love being able to share this time with them, even if they do things that make me crazy!

Dallas Cowboys Stadium!

Ryan and I flew down to Dallas, TX for the BYU vs Oklahoma football game on September 5th. Wait...Ryan at a BYU game? Yes, that is right. Our good friends were able to get tickets to the game and we went with them (Ryan couldn't resist a reason to go see the new stadium). Ryan had a great time golfing for 2 days and I enjoyed the malls with my friend for 2 days. Enough damage done that we don't need pictures to prove it!

Cowboys Stadium at night. It is really a beautiful stadium.

Ryan in BYU blue at the football game. No Oklahoma shirt for him....we were in a BYU suite so that wasn't allowed. This is a picture from the suite. Can't complain about the view from the suite and the 3 tvs inside.

This is a picture of the HUGE screen inside the stadium that hangs above the football field from the 20 yard line to the other 20 yard line. This picture doesn't do it justice because it is RIDICULOUS! It is so clear we could see the sweat dripping from the QBs face.

This is a little better picture of the screen. They are huge!

First Day of School!

Monday, August 24, was the first day of school! Everyone picked out their outfits the night before and got ready for school (even Presley, even though her preschool starts next week). To my surprise, Marly and Griffen both slept in! I thought for sure they would be up at the crack of dawn!!

Here is my big 2ND GRADER...

can't believe he is getting so big!

When did this sweet face...

get big enough to be in KINDERGARTEN!

They both had really good first days! Marly really enjoys her teacher and being at school ALL DAY (we'll see how long that lasts!)! Griffen said school was boring and that he wasn't excited. (I think he was glad to be back but didn't want to admit it!)

Of course, Presley and Jagger couldn't be left out of the first day of school pictures!

The Beach!

My parents rented a beach house in Oceanside, California, this month.  So, we tagged along and had some good times!

Dad and Jagger strolling along the beach.

Jagger's first trip to the beach.  He didn't quite know what to expect at first, but quickly figured out that sand goes EVERYWHERE and it is SO MUCH FUN!

Marly on the beach!

Griffen playing frisbee on the beach.

Presley on the beach.  She doesn't like to get too dirty, so the beach was kind of tricky for her!

Presley and Jagger getting buried in the sand.  They loved it!

Jagger figuring out the beach!  Sand everywhere - check.  Scare mom by running in the ocean - check.

Griffen riding a wave on the boogie board!  His first time and he did so good!

Grandma, Jagger and Presley sitting on the patio of the beach house.

Most of the kids in the bike that Grandpa found and rented.  We had so much fun in it!

It was a great vacation and we all had fun!  Thanks again Mom and Dad for everything!

Sea World

A trip to San Diego wouldn't have been complete without going to Sea World!  I definitely recommend going to Sea World at night because that is when the trainers swim with the animals!

Of course we had to see Shamu!

Griffen touching and feeding the dolphins!

Marly touching and feeding the dolphins!  We later saw the dolphin show.

Jagger picking up the starfish, which is NOT allowed!  I don't think they ever want to see this little guy again.  All he wanted to do was pick them up and throw them.  If the starfish comes out of the water, it can't breathe.  Not a good thing and the workers weren't wanting to "bend" this rule.....

Presley touching the starfish!  She loved this!

Griffen, Mom, and Jagger on the tea cup ride at Sea World!

Grandpa, Marly, and Presley on the tea cup ride!

Mom and Jagger on the Elmo Flying Fish ride!  He loved all the rides!

Presley and Grandpa on Elmo's Flying Fish ride!

The Dolphins at night!  We had such a good time!  Thanks again Mom and Dad!

Knotts Berry Farm

We also went to Knotts Berry Farm while in California.  We love it Camp Snoopy!  It is perfect for our kids and they can ALL go on the rides!

Snoopy, Marly, Mom, Jagger and Presley.
(Dad and Griffen were riding a "real" roller coaster, Ghost Rider)

Jagger and Presley riding the airplane ride.  This was Jagger's first ride by himself and he did so good.  I was a bit nervous that he would get out of the seat belt, but he didn't!

Griffen riding the car ride.

Dad and Jagger in the cars.

Griffen and Jagger on the Log Peeler.

Marly and Presley on the Log Peeler.

Marly, Griffen, Mom, and Presley riding the roller coaster in Camp Snoopy!  Presley loved it!

Marly, Presley, and Griffen loving Air Mail!  We had such a good time!  Thanks Mom and Dad!

Chicago!

My sister and I spent 5 days in Chicago in July.  Here are a couple of pictures from the trip.  What an amazing city!
