Spring Break ... Day 5

Today we spent the day riding 4 wheelers and the rhino with cousins and Grandma and Grandpa Leavitt.  We had a blast getting dirty and riding all the trails!

This is my FAVORITE picture of the day!  Jagger getting ready to go riding with his stylin' goggles!!!  He wouldn't let me go until these were on and when they fell off, he wanted them back on right away.  He is too cute and so much fun!

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!  We had a BLAST and can't wait to do it again soon!

Spring Break ... Day 4

Today we had some of our cousins over and had a little Easter party!  We love our cousins!

We frosted sugar cookies ... even the 2 year olds did!  What fun!  :)

We decorated Easter eggs!  Again, even the 2 year olds did and it was a lot of FUN!

So, I chopped off ALL my hair!!!  we'll see how this works.....

Spring Break ... Day 3

Today we went to the Springs Preserve.  The kids had a blast!  Griffen loved climbing up and around all the rocks and finding out where he would end up.  Marly, Presley and Jagger enjoyed the train (it doesn't move), the snake (it's not real, but makes a lot of noise), the dragonfly, playing in the turtle shells, and walking through the "dinosaur bones".  We weren't exactly prepared for the weather (we dressed for cold and windy and it was HOT and no wind), but we will be better prepared next time.  We didn't even see all that there was to see....the 2 mile walking trails and the gardens (i've heard they are beautiful!)  We will definitely be back!

Spring Break ... Day 2

We went and saw Monsters vs. Aliens today and then played in the backyard all afternoon.  It was a beautiful day ... 83 and sunny.  However, the winds are starting to pick up again.......I hate wind!

Spring Break ... Day 1

After a trip to our beloved Target to pick up our necessary items for the day and to spend the kids' gift cards from their birthday that they received and to pick up a few items that mom needed (I never turn down a trip to target!),

we began our adventure!  Our biggest challenge was to play in the street in front of the house and not get hit by a car!!  The speed limit is 15 mph in the neighborhood, but no one pays attention to it!

The kids had fun painting and writing with chalk in the street.  This has become their favorite thing to do!

It was a beautiful day - 75 and sunny with NO WIND!!!  Not bad for their first day of break.
